In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you should expect high quality care as well as great service. Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary team committed to providing exceptional client service and respect.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we will escort you into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Coffee, water, and cookies are available in our lobby area and you may browse our retail area while you wait. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, although emergency cases shall always receive top priority. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
You will normally see a Veterinary Technician first who will take a history, and gather information for the doctor. A Veterinarian will then perform a complete physical examination, answer any questions and plan further diagnostics or treatment as necessary. The Veterinary Technician will then provide you with further educational information, and answer routine wellness and care questions for you. Our receptionists will handle invoicing and schedule any needed follow up.
Occasionally the Doctor will offer a drop-off appointment. A “drop-off” means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave them with us for a couple of hours in case the exam cannot be performed immediately. Usually we will ask you to drop-off in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the exam is done, the Doctor will give you a call to go over the diagnosis. The Doctor or Veterinary Technician will give you discharge instructions at the time of pickup.
There may be times the Doctor may refer you to a Specialist-Veterinarians who have completed advanced studied in specialties such as Internal Medicine, Surgery and Emergency Care-in case your pet must undergo a procedure that requires advanced care.
